French Open sentimental favorites

Post by meganfernandez »

Now that Rafa is out, who's you're sentimental favorite? Mine would have to be Monfils, but of those with a somewhat realistic chance to win, it would be Grigor. So wish one of them would get a Slam. Foolish hope?

For women, I'd sure love to see Anisimova have some good luck. The game is beautiful and she had a rough time when her dad passed away. Keys, too.

Stan winning would be a dream. I would love to see that.
And Anisimova went through a lot, so sure, that would be nice. But I would say Maddie. She has been so good for so long.
Ons getting a Slam would be fitting.

I have a soft spot for David Goffin, but I don't expect him to win tomorrow.
If you asked before the tournament began, Andy Murray would have been on most people's lists.
I agree about Grigor, but I don' see him winning either.
