I'm currently having a minor flashback to 2018 when I got weekend tickets and was expecting/hoping to see CoCo Vandeweghe and/or Kiki Bertens in the final and we got Krunic and Flipkens instead. A fun final, though, and Krunic probably had the week of her life, looking she was born to play on grass. Don't think history will repeat itself, but it's good to see her give Pegula a bit of a test at least.
- Edit -
Wasn't expecting the win

I'm surprised that nobody commented on Andreescu-Osaka. Quite a juicy match-up it was
Forgot to comment as I was watching (from home, mind you...) Overall a pretty good match, though some of Andreescu's "knee bending" shots were a little scary to see

The Samsonova - Alexandrova match is a weird one to watch. The latter was (almost?) constantly unhappy, apparently also in some physical discomfort, especially during the second set and looking like she'd rather be anywhere else. Yet she kept winning points and Samsonova kept losing certain points and games she shouldn't have. So now, possibly to the surprise of many watching, we're into a third set tomorrow. Didn't see it coming.
