So sure, let him be FOKI.

Strange way to announce she's getting vaccinated - by citing it as the reason she's pulling out of a tournament.
I'm not aware that getting vaccinated and playing tennis are mutually exclusive.
It might even discourage some people who are on the fence about getting vaccinated... Maybe even give a bit of fuel to the 'anti-vaxxers', who may say "See - the adverse effects of the vaccine are significant to the degree that you can't play tennis."

Getting vaccinated in US kind of prevents one from playing a tournament in Germany at the same time.

If she is going Pfizer, she has to return, at the latest, 21 days later. If Moderna, 28. So maybe she should ask for J&J, which right now is not available.

I didn't see that she's getting vaccinated in the US.

Is the US still giving the 2nd doses roughly 3 - 4 weeks following the 1st dose?
Because many countries are giving the 2nd dose only 2 or 3 - or even 4 - MONTHS after the 1st.

She is currently in Miami (where she lives).

As Ponchi said, 3 weeks for Pfizer, 4 weeks for Moderna. I've only heard of the UK and Denmark approving a delay on the second dose.

And Canada. Up to 4 months here.

Canada has a four month delay between doses.

Canada is also among the countries doing rather poorly in vaccination.

^ Yes.
The 4 month interval was because the powers that be decided that it was better to vaccinate more people with one dose than to vaccinate fewer people with 2 doses.
In the end, we've vaccinated fewer people with one dose!

US trying to stick with 3 weeks for Pfizer and 4 for Moderna, but say as long as you get second dose within 6 weeks (42 days) you shouldn’t need to start over.
