Day 8 Pick Commentary

The picks that are most likely to win today, but lose in the quarterfinals are Draper and Medvedev. So, those pickers are looking good.

The De Minaur pickers and especially the Sinner picker are likely to run out of picks before the end of the tournament. Unless, Medvedev defeats Sinner next round, in which your pick will look brilliant.

I am posting this before the pick deadline, because of my schedule today. We have one contestant who has not posted their pick yet, and that is fine. You actually have until noon US eastern time to post your pick. However, I will be gone then and won't be back until about 6:00 p.m. US eastern time.

Things have gotten pretty difficult. We have only four players playing today, and all of them have been picked. A lot of certain death today. With one more person to pick.

aaaaanyhooooo I am left only with Sinner and then Tiafoe in the semis, so that really is me having rogered myself quite thoroughly with my de Minaur pick.
Oh well. Still an ok effort

I’d never lasted to Day 8 or 9 for any side in 5+ years, let alone both, before. (one of few I think).

While I picked myself into a men’s corner already, chalk me up to “just happy to be this far.”
