looking out for Korneeva - a junior champ..who may do well at the main draw level - beat SST easily just now - a very crafty pro whom teenagers find tough..so good result for Korneeva.. she has been a bit overshadowed by Andreeva but she was her peer in the juniors

I can't think of any other player having so many titles on her 2nd year on tour. The closest analogy is Serena in 1999. She won 6 titles (slam + 2 tier I). But Serena started in 1997. If we'll put a qualifier 2nd FULL year on tour, then of course Shnaider's 4 small titles (one 500 + three 250) are looking modest. But if we exclude Goddesses (Serena), then I do not see a valid comparison. Who did I miss?

I think she is a bit older than the likes of Steffi, Hingis or Seles, who started so young that they really could not win at that age.
But the overall gist of what you are saying is correct. She is doing what good players do. She beats lower ranked opponents when she should.
Look at Navarro. Ranked higher, but she went to a 125 and was unable to capture it. Shnaider may have a lower rank, but seems consistent in her level of play.

Surprised that there is no emergency podcast on Tennis With An Accent as one of their contributors used to coach her.
