Swiatek seems to be playing well, and the court isn't fast enough to bother her.she is looking like a contender after all..she will have no trouble with Raducanu

Re: '25 AO Day 5 OoP & Discussion
Rybakina must have seen his post as the bakery was well stocked in the first set
Only allowed 13 points , and 3 of those were in Jovic's third and final service game of the set (where I might add she finally won a point on her first serve) that went to deuce.
Unrelated to that - impressed with Navarro's fight down the stretch. Wasn't holding in the final set and kept grinding out breaks back including a 6 minute plus game that got it back on serve

Eva Lys is a true lucky loser. 3rd round of a GS for the first time now.

This years wonder is Joao Fonseca, 18, from Brazil. He's at 3 all on serve in the fifth set vs Sonego

Sonego won with experience but I see why they're high on the kid. He moves well and hits the ball hard with accuracy. The precision failed in the 5th set due to his being tired in my opinion (I didn't see any of the match prior to mid fifth set).

Fonseca needs a bit more time to mature, but the future looks bright.

From what I've seen so far from all involved, she not just a contender. She is a main contender.

Re: '25 AO Day 5 OoP & Discussion
Medvedev is getting himself into another 5 setter it seems - down two sets to none to Lerner Tien, but up a break in the 3rd set.
