Osaka was. No longer. The endorsements tell you so.
Coco is not yet a superstar. To be that, you need to be a star outside of tennis. The same for Carlitos.

You also need to be a star outside your home market.

Shelton has the makings... some day he may be. Berrettini's face is plastered on the London tube, even in India, so he may be on the way too

Berrettini's claim to stardom is based on other factors, not the quality of his tennis.

You don't think Osaka still has the same or similar Q rating, with her connections to huge markets? She lit the Olympics flame 3.5 years ago.

Not globally. Osaka, Serena and Federer still carry the torch.

Exactly. 3.5 years ago. She has been off too long, and has not been a factor at a slam in a long time.
Stardom is usually a "what have you done for me lately" thing.

I still think Naomi has a huge fan base who still believes in her return to grand slam glory. I personally think her relationship ending with Cordae will likely help her. I don't think she's designed to carry a lot of baggage.

The best measurement of how big a star you are is the amount of endorsements, and how much you get paid. That was how we always knew Roger was more popular than anybody. And the fact that he lost almost no endorsements after retirement was a sign of his stardom.
Osaka has lost a lot in that department. Ergo my appraisal that she is no longer a big star, outside of tennis.

Now he and Federer are competing who's a better businessman. A slight advantage to Roger currently. Mostly based on his part ownership of "On shoes" company.

They've both got a ways to go to catch up to Ion Tiriac.

Uhm, not that long a way to go. Roger is already a billionaire (right?) and his image is certainly less controversial than Tiriac's. He already owns a highly valuable exo, and ON SHOES is no longer only shoes. He just needs to land one big name in the NBA (for example) to be able to enter new markets.
Rafa will be able to buy Barcelona soon (the tournament), and also start there.
I say they will be alright, very soon.

Based on what I could find online Federer's net worth was estimated at 550 million, and Nadal's around 220 million. Tiriac's net worth was estimated at 2 billion, and on one list I found he was listed as the 2nd richest athlete in the world behind only Michael Jordan.
