well, dang it. I traded in Osaka and yes, she got me a few points which is good but I thought she had a good chance to go another round. well, score based it seemed close?

Well, my last trade lost first match so I would gladly have taken a few rounds instead :)

Well, Osaka points aside, I still have Shnaider alive too! But...basically I need Andreeva to upset Gauff because Omegadoom and tenedab both have Gauff. (And everyone has Sabalenka and Svitolina, so no difference there!)

I think your chances are good.

I don't know about good. Coco has apparently won all 3 times they've played including just a week ago (give or take) at Madrid.

But it depends on which Coco shows.

Right now I'm just hoping I lose by more than the points difference if I had kept Sabalenka instead of Swiatek so I feel less dumb.

Well, that was a close 2nd set. But indeed, Coco kept her perfect record against Mirra.

yeah. well, I took a shot. plus I wasn't convinced Coco would perform well 2 weeks in a row given her year so far. but I was wrong.

as best I can tell, I retook 3rd place from Patrick. But I don't know if anyone behind us had a team that overtook us.

I haven't been watching other people's scores at all, but I think I'm the only one with Paolini. Not sure that'll be enough to help me crack top 3 even if she wins, but at least keeping it interesting.

Well, you did it! Congrats on choosing Paolini for your team! (and with Gauff, having both players in the final!).
