Yes, missed that subtle point. But I then will say that Iga will gain on Aryna. Iga's confidence must be overflowing at the moment. Aryna's must be dented.

Aryna is defending USO points. I say that by the end of the year, Iga is back at #1. I will bet three dog chewed balls on that. ;)
She has almost double the points of Swiatek, and she'll defend a good portion of what she has left, so I think it will be a tall order. Gauff has a better chance after her less than stellar summer last year, but she won't do it either, IMO.

Gauff doesn't have a better chance, I think. She's now well behind Swiatek in the race.
