Jannik Sinner and Katerina Siniakova withdraw from 2025 US Open mixed doubles
Tuesday, August 19, 2025
Jannik Sinner and Katerina Siniakova have withdrawn from the US Open Mixed Doubles Championship presented by Vital Proteins. The withdrawal comes after Sinner was forced to retired due to illness during the Cincinnati Open final against Carlos Alcaraz on Monday.
Their place in the draw will be filled by Danielle Collins and Christian Harrison, as they were the duo with the highest combined singles ranking that signed in by 10:30 a.m. today. Priority for the alternate was given to those that had been entered by the initial July 28 deadline.
The full mixed doubles draw and the order of play have been updated to reflect the change.
The first and second rounds will be played on Tuesday, Aug. 19, starting at 11 a.m. ET. The semifinals and final will be played on Wednesday, Aug. 20, starting at 7 p.m. ET.
Tuesday's first and second rounds will be played in Arthur Ashe Stadium and Louis Armstrong Stadium. Admission to the Louis Armstrong Stadium matches is accessible via the US Open's Fan Access Pass. Through the semifinals, matches will be best of three sets with short sets to four games, no-ad scoring, tiebreakers at four-all and a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a third set. The final will be a best-of-three set match to six games, featuring no-ad scoring, with tiebreakers at six-all and a 10-point match tiebreaker in lieu of a third set.
The winning team will receive a $1 million prize.

the only thing I am looking to see is -
does the man matter more or the woman? Does doubles prowess matter? (Pegula, Andreeva are very good doubles players, Rybakina isnt)

Re: '25 USO Mixed Doubles, Doubles, Jnrs Singles Draws & Discussion
Gotta say, I liked the mixed today a lot and look forward to the semis and final tomorrow. Even the bloopers were fun, like Gael and Naomi getting lost mid-rally and ending up in the same corner, leaving the court wide open. Iga and Casper colliding. I enjoyed a lot of the tennis. The singles players had some incredible passing shots. It was fast-paced, fun, light... hope they include more top-ranked doubles players next time, continue to tweak it. But overall I think it was a success. Packed stands.
