Of course he does and they can BUT... I wonder if he lasts another 3 1/2 years. He certainly won't improve.

I believe it is of journalistic and public interest to analyze the contents of the probable manifesto of Robin M Westman, the Annunciation Catholic School shooter.
this is a live-thread as I work!
didn't think i'd spend this afternoon transcribing a manifesto written in cyrillic script but here i am
first, to establish a timeline: at 13:27 UTC, Jeff Day of the Star Tribune hears shooting and calls 911, per a Tribune report. Westman's identity is first divulged to the media, as far as I can tell, around 16:30 UTC.
three videos were posted to a YouTube channel with the username "robinw1312" and display name "Robin W" 2 hours prior to that first divulgence.
an archive of the channel on the 18th (web.archive.org/web/20250718...) shows that the name and username were not changed.

because of this timeline, I (and an increasing amount of non-tabloid media sources) consider the video to very likely be legitimate.
the three videos are entitled "Robin Westman ehehe," "Robin Westman," and "08.27.2025 RMW." they appear to be intended to come up from a YouTube search.
the videos' names and relative times are archived on the Wayback Machine:
web.archive.org/web/20250718...
web.archive.org/web/20250827...
now: what do they show?
the longest video, the 20-minute "Robin Westman," shows two journals, both with entries written in Cyrillic script approximating English. (as I transcribe, I'll be verifying this.)
the first journal spans the dates May 23 to July 19, and the second spans the dates July 19 to August 21, 2025.
the shortest video, the 2-minute "08.27.2025 RMW," shows the second journal again, but the entries continue until today, August 27.
the third 11-minute video "Robin Westman ehehe" shows a Latin-script manifesto, plus an assortment of munitions.

Giuliani Is Hurt in Car Crash in New Hampshire
Mr. Giuliani, the former New York City mayor and lawyer for President Trump, suffered a fractured vertebra, his head of security said.
Rudolph W. Giuliani was injured in a car accident in New Hampshire on Saturday evening and taken to a hospital with a fractured vertebra, according to the head of security for Mr. Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City and lawyer for President Trump.
Mr. Giuliani, 81, is expected to recover, the security chief, Michael Ragusa, said.
The narrative of how the accident unfolded, based on accounts from Mr. Ragusa and the New Hampshire State Police, is a little unclear.
Mr. Giuliani was in a Ford Bronco being driven by his adviser Theodore Goodman on Interstate 93 near Manchester, N.H., at around 10 p.m., the police said in a statement. Mr. Ragusa said their car was flagged down by a woman who was the victim of domestic violence and they stopped to help. The police noted the domestic violence incident but did not address whether Mr. Giuliani was assisting the victim.
Mr. Giuliani called 911 and waited until help arrived, then departed, Mr. Ragusa said.
The police said Mr. Giuliani’s vehicle was northbound on the highway, on the opposite side of the road from where the domestic violence incident was reported, when it was rear-ended by a Honda HR-V driven by Lauren Kemp, 19, of Concord, N.H. Both vehicles hit the median and were heavily damaged, the police said. Mr. Ragusa said the car that hit Mr. Giuliani’s was traveling at high speed.
I'm not buying the domestic violence part of this story. It reeks of PR.

But the fact is that, uhm, no, you don't love them. You love their money, and your country really, really does not want anybody from outside.

‘A Lot of Blood’: Witnesses Describe the Charlie Kirk Shooting
People in the crowd said that the shot was not very loud and that not everyone had immediately realized what was happening.

Andrew Piskadlo was standing in the middle of a campus amphitheater on Wednesday, waiting to debate Charlie Kirk about the Eighth Amendment, when a single shot rang out.
“It was surprising, and no one really got down until the people in front of the stage did,” Mr. Piskadlo, 28, of Salt Lake City, said in a phone interview. “People got down in waves.”
He had been in line at a campus event at Utah Valley University, waiting to speak to and debate Mr. Kirk, as students typically do in “Prove Me Wrong” debates that Mr. Kirk, a right-wing activist, would host.
Mr. Piskadlo, who estimated that he was about 80 feet away, recalled that Mr. Kirk had been responding to a question about transgender mass shooting suspects before he was shot.
When the shot rang out, Mr. Piskadlo said that he dropped first but did not run. He said he did not see Mr. Kirk get shot. He estimated that the shooting occurred shortly after the program began, shortly after noon local time.
Brandon Russon, a 24-year-old student at Ensign College in Salt Lake City, said he was near the front row of the crowd, about 20 feet from Mr. Kirk.
“I just saw Charlie kind of slump backwards, and I saw — it was very graphic — I saw a lot of blood. And then everybody around me just fell to the ground trying to take cover,” Mr. Russon said. He described a split second of confusion: Mr. Kirk was being asked about mass shootings at the time, and for a brief moment, Mr. Russon wondered whether the shooting was part of an act.
“That lasted only about a second before I realized it was something very serious going on,” he said. Fearing that more shots could be fired, Mr. Russon said he stayed crouched on the ground for about a minute as people screamed and ran around him.
He said that he texted his wife to tell her what was happening and that he loved her, then grabbed his friend, who was next to him, and ran for a nearby building.
Mr. Russon said he was still shaken up by the event and felt grateful to be alive.
He recalled that before it started, he had turned to his friend and said the courtyard venue was not ideal for someone who was a “divisive public figure.”
Mr. Piskadlo said that the setup of the amphitheater struck him as unsafe before the event. Despite a heavy security presence, he noticed “there were a lot of ledges, points where this could happen,” he said. “This seemed really preventable. I’m kind of angry at the organizers.”
Zachary Morris, who attended the event with his 3-year-old daughter, described confusion and a “mass panic” in the crowd when the shot was fired.
“I reached down and grabbed my daughter and my phone and began to run,” said Mr. Morris, a registered nurse who lives in Lehi, Utah.
He took cover in the Sorensen Student Center, but there, people were yelling for everyone to evacuate the building.
“All I could think was that I gotta get my daughter out of there,” said Mr. Morris, who eventually exited safely with his daughter.
Isaac Davis, a junior at Utah Valley University, said the shot fired “wasn’t that loud.” He added, “It was definitely noticeable, but it sounded almost like a firecracker.” He said he believed the shooter was not in the crowd.
Mr. Davis said the scene devolved into “hysteria” after the shot, and he and several others were pushed indoors and into a classroom to hide. “I just didn’t want to be in the building while everything was going on so I ran out of it,” he said.
Benjamin Wood contributed reporting from the campus of Utah Valley University.

There is also a graphic video floating around. TMZ has it if you're curious. I wasn't.

A chilling video has emerged showing a sniper perched on the roof of the Losee Center at Utah Valley University, moments after shooting Charlie Kirk during a Turning Point USA event on Wednesday
A video appears to show a sniper running across a roof at Utah Valley University, moments after Charlie Kirk was fatally shot during a Turning Point USA event on Wednesday.
Kirk was shot in the neck and tragically died after being rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The conservative commentator was at the university on behalf of Turning Point, an organization run by Kirk.
According to reports, Kirk, 31, was wounded by a sniper at the event, believed to be from a range of around 200 yards. In addition to the sniper video, another video circulating online appears to show Kirk being hit by a bullet as he began his speech, before blood began pouring from his neck.
(...)
Eyewitness account
Several eyewitnesses to the event recounted the chilling moment Kirk was shot. Emma Pitts, a reporter for Deseret News in Utah, shared with CNN, "It felt like so much blood came out of his neck immediately."
Gunfire then erupted and Kirk was hit in the neck, causing him to jolt forward as blood spurted out. In the ensuing chaos, students fled in panic.
"You hear the gunshot and then you see Charlie go limp, he turned, and we saw blood immediately," said Pitts. "Both of our perspectives were that he was shot in the neck ... And then we all took to the ground."
Other students recalled the horrific moment. "We heard a big loud shot, I saw a bunch of blood come out of Charlie, I saw his body kind of kick back and go limp, and everybody dropped to the ground," Justin Hickens said.
