It's like Mac losing that RG final. He played two of the most incredible serve and volley sets ever on clay. But he needed a third, and he did not.
I did see that entire match, clearly JMac didnt have the stamina, he just got tired. Lendl's physical conditioning..
Lendl was starting that phase in his career in which he was fitter than anybody, indeed. And yes, stamina may have been a factor.
But those first two sets from Mac were amazing. I can only compare them to the 1991 USO final, when Edberg was hitting winning volleys from his shoelaces.

I saw elsewhere they did an AI mashup of Musetti and Fritz because they weren't sure Fritz was going to play. What an absolute cluster.

The season is too long.
Until they give you 6 million reasons to go play.
Yeah, I have never been offered 6 million liras to do anything. I guess I would go.

At the start of the season Christian Harrison & Evan King needed a wild card into qualifying as a team. Now they are in the running to make the year end finals. They just made the finals in Brussels. Follow along as they make the final push!!!

Whom do we have as most likely to win year end awards? Below are my candidates.
ATP
Player of the year: Alcaraz (maybe Sinner if he wins WTF)
Most improved: Shelton
Comeback of the year: FAA
Newcomer of the year: Fonseca (Thien wouldn't surprise)
WTA
Player of the year: Sabalenka
Most improved: Anisimova
Comeback of the year: Bencic
Newcomer of the year: Mboko (honorable mentions to Joint and Valentova)
