I am confused. That does not seem bad to me, if it shows that accounts that are supposed to be from somewhere are really from somewhere else.
What am I missing?

It's not bad, it exposes the ne'er do wells.

The forefathers also built the county on the backs of slaves and stolen lands.

Two extreme positions.
No. Not every immigrant is a thug, thief or leech.
And no. The forefathers of the USA did not build the country ONLY on the back of slaves and stolen land.

And therefore, no conversation is possible.

It is another "You failed because you didn't do what we wanted, because we are obviously right" article.

Indiana’s Senate has voted AGAINST the GOP gerrymander that’d have locked in a 9-0 map.

This keeps the 7-2 map in place, saving two Democratic seats heading into 2026.

The vote failed big, 19/31.

The MAJORITY of the GOP senators opposed it!

House passes bill to restore federal workers' bargaining rights

The House on Thursday voted 231-195 to pass a bill that would restore collective bargaining rights for federal workers, a first step toward reversing the sweeping changes President Donald Trump enacted earlier this year.
Twenty Republicans joined all Democrats to advance the Protect America’s Workforce Act. The legislation still needs to clear the Senate, where it will likely face an uphill battle garnering the necessary votes.

Rep. Jared Golden (D-Maine) introduced the bill on the House floor Tuesday after Reps. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.). and Nick LaLota (R-N.Y.) provided the final signatures last month on a discharge petition, which forced a vote.

The legislation would roll back Trump’s March and August executive orders that stripped collective bargaining protections for large swaths of the federal workforce. Its passage was cheered by labor groups, who recently suffered a blow when lawmakers removed a provision from the National Defense Authorization Act that would’ve restored unionization rights of civilian Pentagon employees.

BTW the official reason she was chased out left was because of a FEMA meeting that is said to have been canceled without her knowledge...
Democrats were further angered after Noem left the hearing early to oversee a meeting of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, which falls under DHS. However, that meeting was postponed. A DHS spokesperson said Noem did not learn of the meeting’s cancellation until after she had left.

One step closer........Good riddance.

Rep. Doug LaMalfa of California dies, reducing GOP’s narrow control of the House.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Republican Doug LaMalfa, a California rice farmer who served seven terms in the U.S. House and was a reliable vote on President Donald Trump’s agenda, has died at age 65.

His death trims the Republicans’ narrow margin of control of the House to 218 seats to Democrats’ 213.
The congressman experienced a medical emergency Monday night and was taken to a local hospital, where he died during a surgical procedure, the Butte County sheriff’s office said Tuesday. Officials haven’t disclosed the cause of his death.

Trump expressed “tremendous sorrow” over LaMalfa’s death as he addressed a meeting of House Republicans on Tuesday, lamenting the loss of a lawmaker he championed as an ally for his agenda. He said the late congressman “wasn’t a 3 o’clock in the morning person” like other lawmakers he would call in the wee hours to lobby for their votes.

“He voted with me 100% of the time,” Trump said. “With Doug, I never had to call.”
