Can you beat the draw? Just one measly pick a day...

You were. In retrospect, a very good pick, because he did not look like a guy that will go much further.

I thought Lehecka was a safe pick.. should have known unknown opponents make anything risky..

I have him in my AMITS team. He has done nothing.
He has also gone into hibernation. He looked quite promising a few years ago, and it has not panned out. Maybe he lacks size.
(Then again, it is not as if Carlitos is huge...)

Out with Bouzas Maneiro - I thought she was playing well at United Cup, but I guess I underestimated an Aussie playing at home.

Double-cheeked after a day-and-a-half... On the plus side... Ehmm...

So, my 2026 SP ambitions start off even worse than last year. Maybe Blue Monday is a real thing after all...

Weirdly random - first night I fell asleep and woke up on couch with my day 1 ATP pick losing (Korda.) Day 2 same thing - I woke up and the person who I had picked for day 2 before elimination was losing (Lehecka.)

He's at least the bum of my AMITS B team!

Amazing that Maddison Inglis broke down in tears after eliminating Birrell (and me from the Survivor pool).

Seven years ago, Vekic broke down in tears DURING the third set of her inexplicable loss to Birrell, which also eliminated me, and Birrell proceeded to win all of of one game in the next round vs. Kerber. I finally saw an opportunity to get something positive out of Birrell and got what I deserved for that precious pick.

I need something heavy after failing to survive the first round for the men and women for the second straight slam, but at least I made it past the first day in one of them this time.

There is something terribly bumming about not being able to even escape 1R of an SP. Especially getting burned by two top 20 players.
More than a decade since I even reached like a semi.

Indeed, albeit this time I've been lucky to escape R1.

I am out on the men's side now too, picked Borges as I thought Tien was overhyped - clearly not. Thank you for running this contest, it was a bit of fun during the tennis watching.

Oh well - Khachanov took me out, but at least I lasted a few rounds on one side of the pool.

Out with Osaka withdrawal, the worst way to go out in the pool. It happened to me at Wimbledon a few years back with Berretini as well.
