Andreescu opted to skip Australia to play 3 ITF events, and she won 2 of them and made the semis in the other one.

Jen Brady also made the SF of an ITF event in her first tournament back

always liked both of them - Andreescu because she was a great player once and Jen Brady because UCLA

Andreeescu 13-1 for year and up to 162 in the world. Still a long way to go. She's still ranked higher in doubles even.

of course, the 3 hours and 50 minutes looks arbitrary, even data-picking but still, very interesting.

Alcaraz must have lost some 3 hr 30 matches or Sinner won a few, hence that number being picked :D

Roger at 6-12 is odd.
Wonder how many 3:50+ matches he played against Rafa.

Ok. Great. But why do we need a reminder? It is a well known story.

For us yes, but it was 33 years ago so there are lots of newer, or younger fans that don't.
