With a lot of decision making at these Games, the IOC and various sporting bodies are looking pretty tone deaf and stubbornly on the wrong side of common sense or what is right.

Paris is nowhere near this hot during the summer. On average at least.

Yeah, I've been wondering where ITF is on this issue. It seems like they could've advocated for the change to get it to happen. They have made schedule changes because of weather this Olympics (rowing because of the tsunami) so it would seem like it's possible, but there needs to be an advocate for safety I'd think. ITF should've been all over this from Day 1 when the players started complaining. It's not like the tennis center is being used for anything else, so shifting the schedule can't possibly be that big of an issue and there are plenty of other indoor sports that can fill in for missed pre-determined TV slots.

Women's final is set now - Bencic vs Vondrousova. Not maybe the highest profile, but still very solid with two former and likely again future top 10 players. Hard to pick between these two, only one h2h meeting.

Medvedev has been vanquished, but there will be one serious test for Nole after all. In semi finals vs Zverev.

Bencic will go for double gold (probably Djokovic too). I think chances much higher in singles.

Djokovic's 2 & 0 over Kei is pretty impressive. I know Kei is not the same player as before, bit that score is extreme.
I remember a few years ago, in TAT1.0, with Drop and I talking about Novak and his performance. We were saying "how do you stop this?". A fellow member interrupted us and said that we were suffering from "what I am seeing now is the greatest" syndrome. Drop and I agreed that we were perhaps under that spell.
A few years later, I wonder if we were not. How do you really stop this guy? Zverev is going to have to serve at 90% to have a chance.
On the womens: GO Belinda! It would be good to see her win. (Nothing against Marketa)

It seems unlikely he'll manage it here, but he has beaten Djokovic twice. Last time being 2018 WTF finals on indoor hard.

I think you two are talking about TWO different footballs
(Suliso, I think, is talking the European Soccer Leagues. Skating is talking NFL, I guess? )
