TBH I'm shocked posting the link worked so well.

I think players post their hotels to give them publicity, but it’s often at the end of the event, like “thanks for the wonderful free five-star stay.”

Another example of revealing the hotel. In my experience, and I think I'm on social media more than most around here, this is pretty common in recent years and while some say thank you at the end, many reveal where they are staying in some way prior to that. There might still be a thank you post, but it's not the only reveal of the hotel.
