Dress made of recycled Evian bottles. Which reminds me, Project Runway returns tonight.

Coming back to the Peng Shuai affair, this news should be good for anybody that may have been worried about the death of hypocrisy (if such a person exists):
China opposes 'politicisation of sports', as WTA suspends tourneys over Peng Shuai.

China opposes the politicisation of sports. You truly must be the kings of chutzpah to say that, if you are the Chinese government.

Forgot to post this the other day. Garbine did the kickoff at Real Madrid earlier this week.

I did not want to say anything but, since you started, Nicole is, let's say, that beauty of yore. And actually, Radek looks pretty much the same

Sun damage is a real biatch. Having seen many players up close, some very beautiful people (men and women) looked decades older than they were (cough Pennetta cough). Really convinced me to use sunscreen regularly.

Agree, but given that you used an Italian player* as an example, I’ll just say that smoking will also accelerate aging, and in combination with sun exposure is gonna be bad.

*I have no idea if Pennetta smoked, just speaking in general as I know that some players do smoke.

The worst damage was specifically around the eyes, so I think more from squinting in the sun. I don't recall seeing/hearing about Pennetta smoking, doesn't mean she didn't.

But Flavia was just one example. Nearly all the players look older up close.

Mulling over some (probably false) equivalences...
Barty = Federer (footwork, smooth, quick, precise serve..)
Andreescu = Djokovic (no weakness, best on hard courts but can do well on any surface)
Swiatek = Nadal (sprightly, quick, topspin, great on clay)
closest I can think of for Serena is DelPo but it seems sacrilege to compare Serena with anyone at all, so I wont..
any thoughts?
