Re: Tennis Players Random, Random 2.0
Congrats, and I would say that is the end of her career. She is one of those players that when she is happy, she tries less. She does not mind her losses because, well, the rest of her life is perfect. Which is good.
As always, she looks very pretty.

I love this pictureJazzNU wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 3:53 pm Sloane's wedding photos. I honestly am not sure what the People article is despite it saying exclusive, it's clear Sloane has a deal with Vogue for the real wedding coverage. This is the link she posted.

It's the end of her career whenever she decides it is, not because she is happily married.

Re: Tennis Players Random, Random 2.0
She is indeed a pleasure. One player that understands how privileged she has been to play, and that still says that she loves the sport.
Too bad she never made it all the way to the top. She would have been such a great ambassador to the game, which she already is, but it would have been a much larger audience.
And agree 100% on your comment of "most thoughtful player on the planet". Can't think of anybody else that even comes close.

I find the propping up of Andrea Petkovic offputting. And I like her a lot, always have. But there's a considerable difference in how she's treated and commented about and how others are that is not remotely to my liking.

Can you expand? Who are these others, in your opinion? Andrea has always been very thoughtful and, perhaps something that is appealing, she has not been a GREAT champion. She has been highly ranked but we cannot say "look at all those slams!". Perhaps that makes her relatable.

I would say Osaka. But obviously Naomi is more introverted, and so doesn't express her thoughts as often or as openly as Petkovic has. When she does, though, her thoughts are quite profound and enlightening - and refreshing.ponchi101 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 5:16 pm She is indeed a pleasure.
