!!! I didn't even know Snoop Dogg can get that animated.
This can't be real, right? Not him? Just looks/sounds like him?

Yeah, but still... you think it's real? Having a hard time believing the lime green room, for one. EDIT: evidently it's a viral video of Snoop rage-quitting a video game and someone put it on the Kontaveit stream. (So the green room is real. It's hardly MTV Cribs.)

One of my favorite players ever, and now, all my respect. Certainly a much braver man than I will ever be.

This is why tennis needs to stop shooting itself in the foot and cultivate a wider audience. Can you imagine Snoop (no pun intended) rolling up to a tennis match at the US Open?

I woulda thought he’s been there. No? Not a fixture I guess. Could use a wider audience, for sure.

One slam. Just win one slam.
(And be pretty and from a country that salivates for champions):
Emma Raducanu becomes new Porsche Brand Ambassador

I thought she would have fit better with Aston Martin/TATA.

Instant star. One that speaks the languages of the largest global markets. Being pretty, charming, and English-speaking help for sure. But she had to win those 10 matches first.

She likes Formula 1 a lot. Is Porsche more prominent in Formula 1 than Aston Martin?

That is why I thought she was a better fit for Aston. Porsche does not race in F1, while Aston Martin does. And TATA owns Jaguar, which is a bit not in touch with her image (they are more sedan cars, and more towards middle age foggies that still want to believe they drive a sports car (I should know)), but has a reputation for sports cars too and did race in F1 for a while.
Still, admittedly she looks good in a 911GT3 (that is what she is promoting in the link). And Porsche is huge in the Middle and Far East. It is a good hire, especially as Angelique is fading away.
Now, she better do well at Stuttgart.

Porsche sponsors more tennis stars, so I think that's why Porsche.(Does AM sponsor any? Quick research shows Nadal and Monfils have (had?) AMs but I think they bought them)

And Porsche needed to replace Sharapova with another high-profile pretty WTA player

Rafa did/does have an Aston, but it was purchased. At the time, Rafa was signed with KIA. I remember he won one tournament in Germany where he won a Mercedes/AMG SL 63 and had to duck questions about how great the car is to avoid any conflict with KIA . But no, AM does not sponsor tennis players.
I had forgotten that Porsche had Sharapova signed. Indeed, they need a replacement (although you know I think Angie is pretty too).

There's a bigger convo going on about this in Tennis Random, Random. Probably should be here.

Tennis Players Random Random has always felt to me like it’s for the lighter stuff- pictures, gossip, etc. I wasn’t quite sure where this conversation belonged, it seems like there’s a gray zone.
