The white (sock?) between the boots and the.. wide leg gym pants (?) is my favorite high-fashion part of this...

Now Desantis is threatening to send a boat to the Bahamas to bring Djokovic over.what a drama that would be! Wish it would happen, but doubt it will...sigh....

This isn't the right thread for this topic. But that's not how entry into the US works. Desantis does everything for show and has no jurisdiction whatsoever on Novak entering Florida.

If DeSantis sends such a boat, and Novak arrives in Miami, as JazNu says, he still has to clear customs and immigration through the CBP, a federal agency. If he were not to do so, he would be illegally in the USA, facing much stiffer penalties.
Novak is not that dumb.

In the early 20th century Bahamians moved freely between their country and Florida. That hasn't been the case for many, many, many years. I don't know what that man in Florida is thinking but I doubt if he wants to put that idea in peoples heads.ponchi101 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 2:11 am If DeSantis sends such a boat, and Novak arrives in Miami, as JazNu says, he still has to clear customs and immigration through the CBP, a federal agency. If he does it, can the FBI arrest Desantis for participating in human smuggling?ponchi101 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 2:11 am If DeSantis sends such a boat, and Novak arrives in Miami, as JazNu says, he still has to clear customs and immigration through the CBP, a federal agency. If it wasn't charged when migrants were bussed to other parts of the country I cant see anything occurring here

You should read on the careful selection on who they are busing to other parts of the country, it's how they are avoiding charges. Djokovic would be a wholly different matter, legally speaking.Fastbackss wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 11:02 pm If it wasn't charged when migrants were bussed to other parts of the country I cant see anything occurring here
