Serious here. If you had given Mac such a position in 1984, he could have easily hit the baseline line judge with his slice wide out. Sampras could have done the same in the deuce side.
Anybody that right now develops a "slice-wide out, volley to the open court" combo can do some damage.

In the matches I have seen, he is not being able to dictate with the BH. Maybe the timing is a bit off.
Pretty embarrassing ending to today's match for Zverev. Medvedev only had to play the "don't hit an error" routine to "win" the second set tiebreaker. Uninspiring- with an anti-Zverev Happy Ending. :yahoo:

Another very good match, high quality, just not as entertaining as Badosa vs. Muchova, which had all kinds of shot variety. A very good win for Veronika, she was up two breaks in the 3rd, Zheng got one back and seemed like she was going to get it back to even a couple of times, but Veronika served well under pressure.

I just watched Kudermetova's husband/coach literally talk her through her entire match vs Qinwen to win 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

What would you prefer they say there?

And let Paula have this one. She's been consistently having tough draws since she's not ranked as high and is finally getting through a few.

OH, no anti-Badosa commentary meant. I'm all good with Badosa winning many matches. Just wta snark.

I mean, why not go ahead and post "You GO, Girl!!!!" and up the obnoxious comment quotient factor? :gorgeous:

I mean that's fine, but I hope you were posting that about Carlito in Madrid as well.
