DirecTV will have the five-court coverage it had at all slams in the past until ESPN blocked it at the Australian Open.

That's pretty much where I watch all of my Wimbledon tennis in the first week, avoiding the incessant talking heads chatter (even though I actually like the ESPN commentators), point-by-point coverage of blowouts by the top players and any match Gauff plays. You could miss a great tournament watching what ESPN shows in the first week.

TENNIS WATCHERS
JUL 1

Time to head back to SW19, so grab those strawberries and get those white outfits cleaned, we are headed to Wimbledon! After three weeks of grass court warm ups, we are ready for the years third major. Coverage will switch over to ESPN once again, with first to last ball coverage all on ESPN/ESPN Plus. As a reminder, ESPN Plus will have all matches available on its subscription service for $9.99/month.

In addition, Tennis Channel will once again air afternoon replays and a highlight show. ABC will also air replays each weekend.
