Re: 2023 US Open SDP: Loser's Lounge
Well, Beatriz did me in. I thought that Townsend would not be up to it.
Most likely will be here later on also for the men's side.
I'll have myself a caipirinha.
Ok, I'll have two.

I will join you. Nice win for Townsend - glad to see she is having some success, even if it is on our expense. And my men's pick is currently down 2 sets to zero, so, I'll have two also.

There's 14 of us. So might as well start preparing them:

I went out on day 2. Was kind of doubtful when I picked Garcia and Kokkinakis, but I figured surely they could win one, against players outside the top 100............ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Remember that the Belgians are like French that are children of a lesser god. They do make fine wines, it is just that nobody knows them.
So, have your pick:

Late to the lounge, as I was double-cheeked in round 2, and better half motobass in round 1, but we'd been holding off from alcohol for awhile before Labor Day weekend. So, how about a pitcher of sangria for a beautiful summer night? Cheers to fellow loungers!

Holding alcohol OFF during an SP? What an odd choice, Irena2.Irena2 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 10:50 pm Late to the lounge, as I was double-cheeked in round 2, and better half motobass in round 1, but we'd been holding off from alcohol for awhile before Labor Day weekend. Never mind, just make sure Gojo is my waiter and I'll drink whatever he's serving
