To my surprise, and fear, Rybakina looks like a solid contender. The match yesterday against Mertens was one-sided, and Mertens is a solid player.
I am afraid she will raise my (our) hopes once more. The believe she may win this thing may crop in. And we know what happens then.

Watched extensive highlights from Fritz vs Musetti. The latter played superbly well.

I still say that Djokovic will beat him. But, as you say, Musetti has developed a more complete game. If his BH can stand up to Novak's he has a chance.
The main problem for him is that Novak is totally rested. That element is off the table.

I'd not bet any money on him beating Djokovic but also wouldn't completely rule it out. Just wanted to note that he didn't win just because Fritz was subpar. I think he would have beaten Zverev or de Minaur today.
