she had an easy match with Raducanu pulling out, Shanaider didnt - and had to play twice the same day because of rain. I dont think we can infer much from this,just like the Canadian last year.

Certainly. But she does win this kind of tournaments. You know she is not a threat at a slam but when she is playing a 250/500, she lives up to her ranking.
Which is a circular statement because that is how she gets her ranking.
