Nice draw for Rybakina and Samsonova (who should do well here)..Coco too, though I don't expect her to go far. Anisimova will do well, especially with her new-found confidence but she has a bad draw..Bencic in round 2..Muchova has a very nice draw initially, then Swiatek eventually..

Shelton has a nice draw, he should go deep here..anyway suits his game.Tsitsipas should do well, if he has recovered from his victory recently ..in the absence of Sinner, not much to see here other than Alcaraz

Main reason is court is too slow for these players...they like to use their opponent's pace rather than generate their own...court need to help, which this one will not.Coco can generate power but her strength is footspeed and defense..not much use on a sloooow court

Alcaraz plays his best in big tournaments..and he seems to really like IW..look at his track record. osaka has been looking impressive even in her losses, and in the exhos ..so it seems to me she is over her injuries..hopefully..

The base surface is not what determines speed and bounce..it is the top layer..which can be whatever
