Jon Wertheim Swag Prize Predict-off Rules

While everyone who wins a draw gets a medal, we also have two Jon Wertheim Swag Prizes to award. We used to select one winner of the WTA pool, and one winner from the ATP pool to get a swag prize. However, at the French Open, we had two people win both the WTA pool and the ATP pool, but we were not prepared for that possibility. The new system is:
1) If more than two people win both the WTA pool and the ATP pool, those people will participate in a predict-off for the two Jon Wertheim Swag prizes.
2) if exactly two people win both the WTA pool and the ATP pool, those two people will get the Jon Wertheim Swag prizes.
3) if only one person wins both the WTA pool and the ATP pool, then that person wins one of the Jon Wertheim Swag prizes, and the other people who won one of the pools will compete in a single predict-off for the other Jon Wertheim Swag prize.
4) If no one wins both the WTA pool and the ATP pool, then the winners from each pool will compete in separate predict-offs, and the winner from each predict-off will win one of the swag prizes.

We will probably use the same predict-off rules we used at Wimbledon. Each predict-off contestant made a prediction for the final which included who was going to win, how many sets were going to be played, and how many games were going to be played, who is going to win each set, and what is the score of the first set. The prediction of the winner takes the top priority in determining the winner of the predict-off with the number of sets being the first tie-breaker, and the number of games being the second tie-breaker, who won each set will be the third tie-breaker, and the score for the first set will be the fourth tie-breaker. We realize that this is a large set of tie-breakers, but we are trying to set up rules for a predict-off that can handle 20 people if necessary. If we know that that no one will win both the WTA pool and the ATP pool early enough, the WTA pool winners will use the WTA finals in their predict-off and the ATP pool winners will use the ATP final in their predict-off.

One of the side effects of this is that if you are one of the pool winners, and your pool finished early, you may have to keep coming by this website to participate in a predict-off.
