Sloane Stephens lost to Ann Li last week, so it would be very surprising if she were even competitive against Sabalenka.

Yes. I like Sloane but her form is nowhere near what is needed to beat Aryna. Actually, it is a great match for Sabalenka. It will be a work out, but a good one.

Sort of a scratchy match from Sabalenka, but still good enough to easily take out Stephens.

Nice win for Tauson. When she first appeared on the horizon I thought "at least top 20". It hasn't gone so well, but perhaps still happening.
