Congratulations, ktothem1, 2022 Australian Open YCWJ Champion!

Think it's easier to pick losers than winners? We'll see about that.

Ktothem1 has won the 2022 Australian Open You Can't Win Jack contest, finishing with 68 points. This was largely courtesy of a correct women's wooden spoon winner pick in Emina Bektas. She lost to Liudmila Samsonova, who lost to Marketa Vondrousova, who lost to Aryna Sabalenka, who lost to Kaia Kanepi, who lost to Iga Swiatek, who lost to Danielle Collins, who lost to Ashleigh Barty.

The men's last-place finisher was Roman Safiullin, who was unable to take advantage of his lucky loser status due to Casper Ruud withdrawing. He lost to Alex Molcan, who lost to Pablo Andujar, who lost to Alex de Minaur, who lost to Jannik Sinner, who lost to Stefanos Tsitsipas, who lost to Daniil Medvedev, who lost to Rafael Nadal.

Thank you all for playing, and we hope to see you back in May for the French Open edition!

Congratulations. You managed to not only figure out not only who was going to lose, but also when they were going to lose. That is not easy.

Congrats to the winner!

And thanks to the contest admins. I have so much fun following the fates of everyone's chosen losers :-)

Thanks very much to the contest admins and the other players. Emina Bektas was a lucky guess, of course, in a very fun contest. Thanks!

Woo hoo! Congratulations! And why i do I always see people winning contests who never post in the forums? All the contest winners are strangers to me. Come to the forums! :)

I was actually rooting for Emily Bektas, so that's funny that she's the wooden spoon. She lives in Indy, where I do, and I'm going to start working out with her trainer. Not that I am an athlete - just club tennis. Will work on footwork while getting a sweat on.
