Healthy, yes, but not necessarily in form. But it's the Olympics and players usually want to experience it if they have earned a spot. Chances are she'll still be ranked higher than Keys unless Keys makes the final of the French.

It's ranking based, unless the player passes - it's not like Davis Cup or Billie Jean Cup.

Top 10 doubles players are guaranteed entry as long as they have an eligible partner, and then everyone else is listed by ranking like they would for a regular tournament with a limit of 2 entries per country.

In retrospect, what a French Open.
End of the Roger/Rafa/Novak era. Rafa most certainly will not be back. Good, reliable players such as Gasquet and Cornet called it over. Thiem was unable to qualify and will also retire. Wawrinka and Murray showed they are no longer able to play nowhere near previous levels, and possibly this was their last RG.
At age 37, a torn meniscus is serious. He certainly will not make it to Wimbledon and he will have to be at full strength before coming back to the hard courts of the N. American circuit.

I think he'll do everything he can to be back for the Olympics - it's the only significant title missing from his resume.

True, we probably haven't absorbed the full impact of this year's RG.
