Paul beating Norrie surprised me too..Norrie is a past champion here, the surface doesn't really suit Paul...so good show by TP !

Sakkari has a good chance of beating Gauff today.. the court suits Sakkari better and Coco has been in horrendous form. 60% chance of an upset.

Andeeeva probably is the best defender in the game.. up there with Coco and Paolini, maybe a bit better even..she has a good shot at winning Wimbledon, especially given how bad Swiatek is on grass..

Players going in opposite direction in their careers. Personally, I think Norrie is an overachiever. He has some of the ugliest strokes ever (the BH is pathetically disgusting) but he ha reached a very high level and has some good wins. But he was not going to be an elite player for a long time.
Tommy is much more regular. That counts.

Sakkari also has a 5-3 h2h with Gauff

That said, there are few players on tour playing as badly as Sakkari right now.

It was close, but Keys' win streak up to 14.

Coco takes the first set against Sakkari in a tiebreak.

Horrific that Cori needed 6 mps to close out Sakkari. She checked out before she had closed out the match.

Bencic playing really well ...like she played in the Tokyo Olympics, on a similarly slow hard court...can she win this tournament? If Swiatek falters, maybe

I'm a bit surprised when she wins any match currently.

There she was up 5-2 and completely lost the plot. Double fault after double fault. Anyone else would've forced her into a third set but Sakkari is in free fall right now.

Coco doublefaulted 4 match points? A sign of mental fragility..no other reason for such double faults, really
