I mean that's fine, but I hope you were posting that about Carlito in Madrid as well.
I didn't but maybe because it was less obvious? Most of the time I'm busy doing other things while I have tennis on mute. Today I just saw Kudermetova's husband/coach working/talking with her during a long bathroom break by Qinwen and then throughout sets 2 & 3. I still thought Qinwen would win it but it wasn't to be.

...."all the feels"..... :vomit:
What would you prefer they say there?

And let Paula have this one. She's been consistently having tough draws since she's not ranked as high and is finally getting through a few.
ON, no anti-Badosa commentary meant. Just wta snark.

I mean, why not go ahead and post "You GO, Girl!!!!" and up the obnoxious comment quotient factor? :gorgeous:
Well they didn't do that because it's not 1992...but seriously, that's an acceptable phrase to use on social media. An ordinary way to describe those reaction shots to most, so expected rather than obnoxious.

It's raining pretty hard right now.

Bia and Kalinina are in a third set.

Borna about to drop the first set to Marozsan. Chair is stopping the women's match I think. It's pouring.

Players from both matches are still on court but they're not playing.

It's legal now so there is nothing to do about it, but it was not only Carlitos or Kudermetova being coached through the entire match. I noticed there were several such matches this week.
It is the new way. We have to accept it.

Just to be clear this was always happening - now it's done in such a way that you don't have to spend most of your time at a live match trying to crain you neck to see the signs.

It was a major talking point during Madrid on social media and Courier even referenced it during one of the broadcasts because it was getting so much attention. Jim and others have posited that JC coaches that consistently all the time but the microphones at Madrid were more sensitive and picking up so much more that it was getting noticed more.

This is the new norm until they decide it's too much and put in more restrictions.

I'm getting really tired of the management of this tournament.

I hear you. I will die on this hill - Safina never gets to #1 if not for the introduction of OCC.

Tsitsipas and Musetti on court at midnight in Rome. #Tennis just continues to blow its brains out with local scheduling. On a related note. After watching some recent matches it seems Tsitsipas has decided slice backhands just isn’t his thing anymore and is coming over the ball no matter what. Which is producing some eclectic results on anything which bounces high to that side. So rather than work on learning how to master a weakness, he’s just given up. LOL.

There's also a pretty big crowd watching Stefanos vs Musetti.

I love this new thing the Tsitsipas' are doing. Apostolos sitting in the stands looking like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth when we all know damn well what's going on.

Just to be clear. I say we have to accept it. Doesn't mean I don't hate it.
Ferrero's advice to Carlitos was very comprehensive. Where to serve, where to stand, direction, height. It is a solid advantage against a lower player that can't pay a "quality" coach. You are going against Juan Carlos and Carlos (JC2 ?)
