Caro and Coco are mirror-images, they are the same player, actually...if Coco gets past Mertens, she should win..she is much younger, after all...

You don’t think Coco is much more offensive? I never thought of her as a counterpuncher. Maybe she is. If so she should impose herself a lot more.ashkor87 wrote:Caro and Coco are mirror-images, they are the same player, actually...if Coco gets past Mertens, she should win..she is much younger, after all...
Wozniacki’s tenacity, experience and champion mjndset are hard to bet against.

Caro has a great attacking backhand and a good serve, just like Coco.but yes, Coco has become more aggressive in the past couple months..meganfernandez wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 1:05 amYou don’t think Coco is much more offensive? Re: '23 USO Day 5 OoP & Discussion
Who was laughing?!?! Coco's form has certainly been questionable at the Open. For a set and a half, Mertens was looking quite dangerous. Then- she went back to Old Mertens form. For the first set and a half- I'd say that Coco's backhand, of all things, looked like her worst shot- SO many errors.meganfernandez wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 12:41 amEveryone laughed at me when I said Mertens would be a challenge. and that Coco's whole draw is tough. Coco's gotta find her best game again. Still- enough of She Who Just Will Not Go Away. At least beat HER, Coco.

What? They are most definitely not.
Wozniacki is a backboard that has never hit a winner in her life

....NONE of you are talking about Novak!??! (LOL, I've been away for a bit....) Granted- after losing the first to sets, Novak is now up 4-0 in the third....

Forehand technique...
Great movers,
Good serves
Great backhand
No similarities?! What would be a similarity for you, pray?

Saw the score and flipped it on...so if he turns it around I'll take the blame/credit.

Why can't any of these bums ever just polish Novak off?!?!
Also- very bummed that Rybakina lost. Was at least hoping to see her play at the Open. (Great effort from Cirstea).
